Vote to Reveal any Trump or Ex-Presidents' Communications in The Epstein Files
On a tie vote of 5-5, the Federal Law Enforcement Subcommittee on July 23, 2025, failed to adopt a motion by Rep. Robert Garcia, D-Calif., requiring the public release from The Epstein Files of any communications that former U.S. presidents or President Trump had with Jeffrey Epstein. The subcommittee is a unit of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform. This was the first-ever congressional vote on Epstein and his global sex-trafficking ring.
